Mammooty

The Rajamanickam team of Mammootty and director Anwar Rashid is back with Annan Thambi, story of twin brothers who are fiercely opposed to each other.
Mammootty plays the twins Appu and Achu, who are born with a difference of 90 seconds, one guy grow to be a henchman of a 'dada' in Pollachi the other guy runs a drama troupe back home. One day Appu comes home to take on Achu, and the action and fun begins.

Annan Thambi will see Mammootty playing a dual role after a long time and Anwar Rashid is making it as a rollicking action comedy film. Lakshmi Rai and Priyanka are the two heroines in the film, which also has a huge star cast of comedians like Harisri Asokhan, Salim Kumar, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu, Biju Kuttan among others. The film has music by Rahul Raj, and is written by hit maker Benny.P Nairambalam. Marakkar films are producing the film which will be Mammootty's Vishu (April 14) release.
