Biju Menon made his entry in Malayalam cinema has had the privilege by doing the very same role that he had done earlier on the mini-screen. He got that rare chance to do a single character "Aloshi", the character that endeared him to the viewers of the mini-screen, did indeed give him the chance to make his debut as a film-actor. And the character was done in a really appreciable manner by the actor, first in "Mikhaelinte Santhathikal"and then "Puthran" on celluloid, both ventures being directed by Jude Aattipetti,but the film but didn't do well at the box office..
er and had done many notable characters in films by Late Padmarajan and was also a good friend of the director. A bright student, Biju also took part in extra curricular activities in school and college. In his childhood itself he used to display his skill at mimicking anything that he saw, and this skill was developed by him during his schooldays. He took part in some stage plays and all and even showed great enthusiasm in seeing films. But nobody ever thought that this lad was destined to become one of the leading stars of Malayalam.

Mohan Lal


Mohanlal was born in Elanthur in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, to Vishwanathan Nair, a government employee, and Santhakumari. He attended a local school in his village and later enrolled in the Model School, Thiruvananthapuram . An average student at school, he was drawn in to the world of arts; he used to participate in school-plays. In the sixth grade, the young Mohanlal was chosen the best actor in his school, an award that was usually bagged by tenth graders

After schooling, he joined the Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapruam for his Bachelor's degree. He continued his association with acting and won numerous best actor awards. It was here that he met a group of fellow-students, who were passionate about theatre and feature films. They were instrumental in getting him his first breakthrough and some of them, notably Priyadarshan and Raju, went on to become popular movie directors or actors.

Mammooty


The Rajamanickam team of Mammootty and director Anwar Rashid is back with Annan Thambi, story of twin brothers who are fiercely opposed to each other.
Mammootty plays the twins Appu and Achu, who are born with a difference of 90 seconds, one guy grow to be a henchman of a 'dada' in Pollachi the other guy runs a drama troupe back home. One day Appu comes home to take on Achu, and the action and fun begins.



Annan Thambi will see Mammootty playing a dual role after a long time and Anwar Rashid is making it as a rollicking action comedy film. Lakshmi Rai and Priyanka are the two heroines in the film, which also has a huge star cast of comedians like Harisri Asokhan, Salim Kumar, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu, Biju Kuttan among others.

The film has music by Rahul Raj, and is written by hit maker Benny.P Nairambalam. Marakkar films are producing the film which will be Mammootty's Vishu (April 14) release.

Mammooty

Mammootty after presenting one of his career best hits in ‘Annan Thambi’ will join the sets of his new film 'Parunthu'.

Directed by M. Padmakumar and featuring Jayasuriya, Navaneet Kaur, Roma and Lakshmi Rai, the movie will tell the story of a greedy 'Gillette Purushothaman' who is a hard hearted money lender. Scripted by T. A. Razaq, the movie had been in the discussions for quite a while.



The team of Mammootty, T. A. Razaq and M.Padmakumar is with the new movie project ‘Parunthu'. Also featuring Jayasuriya, Navaneet Kaur, Roma and Lakshmi Rai, the movie will tell the story of a greedy 'Gillette Purushothaman' who is a hard hearted money lender. Shooting is in swing at Kozhikode..

Cinematography by Sanjeev Sankar,Produced Howly Pottur under the banner of Dream Team Productions, ‘Parunthu' will be an August release, most probably for this Onam.
